The Girl Who Painted Her World

The Girl Who Painted Her World

There once was a little girl who lived in an enchanted land. Her world was filled with beautiful princesses and gallant knights. Unicorns traversed her lands and massive sails adorned her waters.

Few knew of her brilliance but everyone knew her smile.

She laughed, she loved, she occupied the hearts of all those within her path. Her feelings soared to incredible heights and to mysterious depths. Always there to cheer, to comfort, to create, nurture and love.

You knew you were special in her presence . . . important to her world. Always present for your thoughts and sharing. Never hurried, always attentive, just loving the moment, and living to its fullness.

All remember the first encounter with this precious child. For the experience filled you with a warmth of hospitality unique unto itself. It was as if you had stepped into a work of art . . . a magical universe.

Always an experience just a bit out of step, not of this earth, elevated to a different pace, a different understanding.

Time sometimes stood still . . . so the little girl could capture it all, add just a bit more color, plant another of God’s wonder, adjust the details upon the palette.

We all marvel at her creations, her energy, her love of life. We knew to pay attention because she was giving us an acknowledgment of importance.

She paints her world like no other. She shares a glimpse of her spirit with each encounter. No pretense, just charm and caring. You walk away feeling loved.
